Very special pedigree here on the dam side Z213. She will be 14 years old this year, her mother J913 was here just as long. All her ancestors are of the early imports before the later imports of the Austrians and Germans that came in early 90’s. Cerise Z213’s grand dam Knight Cerise 168U was the top seller at the Bill Knight dispersal in the 90’s. We bought Knight Shamu 163T who was the top selling cow family at the dispersal; flushed her to Brundish Prosperous to create Revolution, mated him to Cerise 168U for the J913, the dam of Z213. Here we are 30 some years later and realizing how long strong cow families last. 5147’s polled gene comes only from Exodus and Brandberg, which makes him an outcross to most all other polled lines in the US and Canada today. He is not only unique in pedigree, but strong in type and kind with his stretch and correctness to create performance.
