PRODUCTION METHODS

1. All females gestate in crates.

2. Pigs are weaned at 14-20 days of age and put in groups of 50/pen for 6 1/2 weeks.

3. All pigs are finished in total and partial slatted buildings with 20-30 head per pen.

4. All boars are preconditioned on Cargill floors prior to sale. This gives us another test on true toughness and they adapt quicker to their new owner's home.

5. All parent stock females are developed on Cargill floors to assure toughness before we enter them into our sow herd. We have found that individuals that pass the Cargill floor conditioning and hold up well in gestation crates will pass along good soundness and longevity to their offspring.

Multiple Packer Cut Test with NPPC, Iowa State University, NSR Confirm our Hog Excell.

We have found with higher ADFI (average daily feed intake), hogs grow faster, less culls, better health, sows stay in better condition, wean heavier pigs and return to esterus sooner. It is a win-win situation.

We sell farm-fresh pork and our customers brag on the flavor!
